Day 57 – Big Things Redux
It’s a rainy wet day here in Newcastle and our Adventure today was coloring my hair and cutting Greg’s hair. So here is a few clips from the big things that we’ve seen along the way. Enjoy. The Adventure does continue.

Day 56 – Port Stephens
Today, we went to Port Stevens and enjoyed the view from the lookout, climbed the highest peak, peaked at the ocean beach, and walked around a defunct lighthouse. Let the adventure continue.

Day 55 – Watagan Mountains
Today, we went into the mountains, but couldn’t get to our first destination. Then we found a couple of really spectacular lookouts before walking into a rather old but small dam. Let the adventure continue.

Day 54 – Anzac Walk, Fernleigh Track, Catalina Base, Red Bluff Boardwalk
Today we walked under the Pacific Highway, visited a World War II Catalina Air Force Base, checked out a lake pool and walked on water. Let the adventure continue.

Day 52 – Marsupials, Gold Guitar, First Fleet Garden, Sugarloaf
Today, we saw the big golden guitar, got up close and personal with some Native Australian animals, dropped in on a McF Fleet Memorial Park, and went up to the Overlook over the city that we both grew up in.

Day 51 Dorrigo Skywalk, Secret Falls, Historic House, Thunderbolt Hideout, Big Chook
Today we went on a skywalk, found a waterfall, looked at a historic house, checked out a highway man’s hideout and a not so big chook. Let the adventure continue.

Day 49 – Lennox Head, Minyon Falls, Crystal Castle, The Farm
Today we took in coffee and the beach at Lennox Head, saw the healing waters at Lake Ainsworth, got vertigo at Minyon Falls, wandered among the crystals, and had a wonderful lunch at the farm. Let the adventure continue.
